What do content creators at JEP do?

• Build FSA exam content on our technologically innovative platform - outlines, notecards, practice problems, and more.
• Engage directly with students in a chatroom-like forum to discuss exam questions and materials
• Directly impact feature development at Just Enough Prep to improve the lives of the next generation of actuarial students

Why would I want to become a content creator?

• $$$ - Content is a critical part of our platform and creators are compensated accordingly. Our content creators receive a significant percentage of revenue from each student enrolled in their course. Since you will no longer be receiving raises and bonuses for passing exams, this is a great way to supplement your income growth.
• Apply your new knowledge in different way - You already passed these incredibly difficult exams, and while you may be putting some of this newfound expertise to use at your day job, much of this knowledge will fade over time as it goes unused. Why not put your hard-earned expertise to use while it is still fresh?
• Improve the Actuarial Profession - While the actuarial profession is greatly respected, the exam process gets a bad reputation for being esoteric, overly difficult, and outdated. Our mission is to improve the profession as a whole by lowering the barrier of entry to the FSA exam process.

What do I need to do?

Our goal when hiring content creators is to ensure a strong 2-way fit. We want to make sure you enjoy working with us on our platform and ensure your teaching style aligns with brand. Our application process is as follows:

1. Tell us about yourself: Who are you? Where do you work? Which exam are you interested in writing content for?
2. Given a sample item from your track of interest, we will ask you to provide a demonstration of your content creation abilities by writing:
   • one outline
   • one notecard
   • one math-based practice problem (using Excel if applicable)
   and submit the materials via our platform. Don't worry, we make it super easy to get onto our platform (just click the button below). Generally we ask candidates to complete their submission within 1 week.
